MMSC & Maui Dolphins hosted 2 "dual-sanctioned" (i.e.; alternate age group and masters events) swim meets at Kihei Aquatic Center Feb 23, and Mar 23. Congrats to Kevin Drake, Malcolm Cooper, Rory Belk, and Kristin Carlisle having fun racing against each other, relay racing against some visiting speed-demons from Canada (they kicked our tails), and racing against a father(98)-son(71) visiting masters from Masters of South Texas (we kicked THEIR tails) ... and we all had fun.
We've recently updated the website with links to current registration forms, and our brochure.
Not much notice activity over the last few years because:
* our prices haven't changed.
* our locations haven't changed.
* our coaches haven't changed.
* we still welcome USMS registered visitors (and FINA-associated international visitors)
* we still welcome new swimmers (FIRST TIME FREE - TRY US OUT)

Due to a lack of officials & volunteers available (many off-island), and a the sanction from USA-S not being available (conflict with Hawaiian Swimming Invitational on Oahu), Mike Sherill and I've had to cancel the relay this year. :-(((
Next year we'll pick a better weekend ... but we will do it. The NEXT ocean swim on Maui will be Kapalua.
(Dave ... contact me for Kapalua to get it going.) There's other info in the email I sent to all of Hawaii Masters, too.
